Well not a whole bunch going on, but thought I should just check in so ya don't think I've forgotten about ya all.
I haven't been able to digi scrap lately - trouble with trying to download so much data on a hotspot. The connection is so slow the download times out on me before it can complete. So much for technology!
Lilly is finally over being sick! and thank goodness I haven't came down with anything else. I'm keeping my fingers crossed all the ickies are over for the year.
I do have a favor to ask. I have a wonderful opportunity and can use any prayers to the Big Guy upstairs.
I've been spending time browsing ideas (for nearly everything) on Pinterest, which put me in a design mode. So I designed a few quilts that I have begun to work on. One is a wall hanging for Lilly and actually hope to have it nearly complete tomorrow. The other is a twin size for her bed. You'll have to keep an eye on the Discovering This and That blog to check it out. I've also started a few journals to jot down ideas about nearly anything and everything. Ideas for decorating, diy stuff, gifts, pretty much anything that pops into my mind. After all, I have to pinch every little penny and it's silly to spend tons of money on something I can make.
OH! nearly forgot! I love old windows. The vintage 6 pane windows so often found in turn of the century homes............well.........I'm getting a whole bunch of them! I am so excited about it. A couple I know is replacing the windows in their late 1800's home, and they are letting me take claim to the old windows!! Now consider this........the house is one of the beautiful old homes with a sleeping porch. The windows from that room are the ones I'm going to get. My mind has been swirling thinking about all the possible things I can do with the windows. I'm sure I'll put some in storage for the day I finally get to build a garden shed...........and build it I will. I'm not afraid to pick up a hammer, or run a saw.
Keep your fingers (and toes) crossed for me.........because good things are coming!
